I am a HUGE fan of Koren Zander from EnKore Makeup. I have been watching his YouTube videos for years and just absolutely love how genuine he is. I especially love all his DIY videos! I’ve seen him create everything from mixing medium to Fix+ to lip gloss so when I heard that he developed his own brush soap I wasn’t surprised in the slightest.
When I was at IMATS New York a few weeks ago I had the pleasure of talking to Koren about his soap and his passion for the products was almost tangible! He explained that each bar of soap contains a five conditioner blend that includes both Argan Oil and Maracuja Seed Oil. There is even an unscented version for those who have fragrance sensitivities. They all smelled so amazing so I opted to pick up two of his products, one in the scent “Mango” and then one of the “unscented” variety. It is important to mention that while the label says this soap is unscented that it still has a faint tea tree oil smell to it. Koren explained to me that this soap doesn’t have any fragrances added into it but that instead this soap simply smells like the ingredients it contains.
The Koren Zander Brush Soap also contains a loofah on one side to help scrub your brushes clean after you’ve swirled them on the soap. This idea is genius because it really helps to get them clean!
I immediately used this soap for the first time after returning home from IMATS and I was extremely impressed! Upon first swirl over the soap I noticed that the product was already dissolving off of my brushes! Amazing!
After washing all of my brushes I left them to dry and noticed that they were incredibly soft after completely drying. Because of the five conditioner blend it was not only cleansing my brushes but it was conditioning them as well. Score!
Overall I really love this product! The quality is fantastic and I really wish I could have you all smell them through the computer screen because they are FABULOUS. So fresh, inviting, and amazing.
