What do you get when you combine Allure Magazine and nail polish (two of my favorite things)? The new Allure & butter LONDON Arm Candy collection, of course!
Allure and butter LONDON created a collection of amazingly vibrant shades that are perfectly on-trend for the upcoming fall season. I mean, when I say they are vibrant I’m not lying – the pigmentation and color payoff is insane!
Consisting of six shades ranging from a semi-sheer nude to a dark, glitter-packed charcoal the Arm Candy collection really has something of everyone. The formula is easy to work with and consistent across the board and most could have been applied fully with one coat!
Nude Stilettos (sheer pink-nude creme): This one was sheer after one coat but could easily be built up to semi-sheer after two or pretty much opaque after three.
I’m On The List (rose-gold metallic): I’ll be honest – I’m not typically a metallic polish lover because they are always so streaky on the nail! I’m On The List, though, applied beautifully in one coat and didn’t leave any of those annoying brush strokes.
Statement Piece (opaque orange-red creme): As soon as I laid eyes on this collection I knew that this would be my favorite color and it did not disappoint me in the slightest. It definitely leans a bit more orange than I originally expected but I can already see myself pairing it with some fun fall outfits for a pop of color.
It’s Vintage (opaque rust creme): This and Statement Piece were easily some of the best formulas out of the bunch. It applied perfectly in one coat and is a stunning dark brick red that has a heavy orange undertone.
Lust or Must (opaque charcoal-brown creme): Opaque is for sure a word I would use to describe this because the pigmentation is insane! Add this to the list of one-coat polishes in the Arm Candy collection. It’s definitely one of those colors that will look black in some lights and brown in another.
Disco Nap (charcoal glitter): Disco Nap was almost completely opaque after one coat but was absolutely perfect after two. I’m typically disappointed in how many coats it takes to make a glitter polish opaque so the fact that this one only took two is a huge win in my book! And who doesn’t love a bit of sparkle on their nails? Sign me up.

Overall I was really happy with the Allure & butter LONDON Arm Candy collection! I’m SO ready to embrace fall and all its dark, vampy colors and this will be the perfect polish set to make that happen. I love that it’s full of a variety of colors and even includes a fall-appropriate bright for those days when you don’t necessarily want to do the “standard” fall color.
